Panda and I

floral tank top from uniqlo, lace top from zucozz, pants from izzue, jacket from Japan, tote bag from page one, loafers from hush puppies, bracelet from the U.S.

I am curious to know if anyone found my lace top familiar. I remember that someone once questioned about the quantity of clothes in my wardrobe when I first started blogging. I replied that my closet built up from the clothes that I bought when I was in primary. Therefore, I have quite a lot of clothes now.

So... what is this piece? This is the top of my P.6 graduation lunch outfit! Yes... I have shopped at adult's boutiques since primary. I now still wear, though not a lot, the clothes that I bought when I was in primary. Certainly, I match them in very different ways for variety. Today I tried to match lace with floral prints; straps with tank.

Love the panda? It seems like the panda has a better camera face than I do. I got it from the book fair.

Taiwan : Taipei

Here are some snapshots of my graduation trip with friends to Taipei. Taipei is definitely a place for teenagers to go to. I miss the days watching TV shows in the hotel room with friends. Taipei rained a lot in June this year. Four out of five days rained heavily when we visited there. Although raining is troublesome, when the sun came out on the fifth day, we found that we rather preferred rain with some breezes. Since I have been to Taiwan for the past 3 years, I guess I will not go there again in the near future. Anyway, it is really convenient and easy to go to Taiwan from Hong Kong, I know I will go there again some day.

Before Typhoon

shirt from French Collection, asymmetric cut skirt from bershka, bag from Taiwan, champagne converse

Typhoon Vicente is now strongly hitting Hong Kong. Out of my memory, there were not many typhoon No. 8. I remember that many nights when typhoon No.3 was hoisted, I browsed the observatory webpage and analyzed the typhoon pathway, eagerly hoping for a no. 8 typhoon signal. But it did not come!

Every time it just left us with heavy rain, terrible weather, without reaching signal no.8. I sadly picked up my school bag and went to school. Umbrellas, shoes, socks were hanging everywhere in the classrooms.

When I was in F.6, I started to hope that typhoon or any bad weather signal would not come. When there are SBAs, quizzes, tests everyday, it is better to keep the schedule. With one day of suspension, all of the tasks would be postponed and packed together. (Tragedy)

Anyone realizes that I have a different background this time? Guess where it is?

Right... Hong Kong City Hall. I went to watch a concert. It is weird to take blogging photos in front of crowds but I guess it is better to get more varieties for my backgrounds.  I observed that no one wore orange or red that day. Hong Kong people do seldom wear colorful items. I also matched with a mint cardigan that day but it was not in the photos. It is all about colour blocking!

sided

all you need: 1 rubber band

I now start my new series, hairtime. I usually spend more time to work on my hair when I dress really casual. Side braids are beautiful but I always have doubt about wearing asymmetric hairstyle. This seems successful, thankfully.

Day Two

dress from Melani, belt from shop in Taiwan, earrings and clutch from shops in Tsim Sha Tsui, shoes from Clarks

The day after the graduation dinner, I would like to repeat using some items used for the dinner but in a different style. I took the same clutch and wore the same pair of earrings. I had hairsprays all over my hair but I was in a rush to meet my friend, so I chose to braid my fringe up. Well, I braided it when we were in the cinema watching movie. haha...

Wonder if you  realize, my skin looks so shiny in these photos. I did put some effort in skin caring before the dinner, but am now too lazy to continue with that! oops.

The Night

dress from elegance, earrings from shop in Tsim Sha Tsui, watch from fossil

It has been a while since my last update of the blog. I had my graduation dinner with all the pretty girls and lovely teachers last week. It was wonderful.

It didn't take me long to buy this dress because that day rained so heavily; my mom and I didn't want to visit any more shops. One good thing about shopping in bad weather: Visit fewer shops; try fewer dresses; have less choices to choose from.

I have never thought of buying a dress like this, especially the baby yellow color. Yet, I think this works fine on me. Thanks to the sales for persuading me to buy this. haha...

As you might have realized, I love accessories. Since I had a strap across my shoulder, I gave up wearing necklace but bought a pair of earrings to match with this dress. I also braided this hairstyle on my own!

I chose to be formal for the night because I believe there are limited occasions in my life can let me do so. Dress formal with your friends for the graduation dinner! It makes your night even more memorable.

(Side story: The awkward moment when you got off the car with formal dressing and a crowd of Korean pop stars' fans were watching over you...)
